Our Officers.

Directors are elected by the general membership at the annual meeting of the IAB and serve one-year terms. Directors also serve as officers of the IAB legal entity. The current officers are:

Strategic Governance Committee

Responsible for developing and maintaining internal and external board policies and procedures that support effective governance. The committee also produces an annual Board Impact Summary to demonstrate how the board had assisted AAMVA over the prior year, highlighting initiatives, achievements, and strategic value delivered.

Event Sponsorship Committee

Responsible for planning and managing sponsored events held during AAMVA Regional Conferences. This committee works to create inclusive, engaging experiences that foster networking and strengthen community.

Membership Committee

Responsible for growing and sustaining a strong, diverse, and engaged Industry Advisory Board (IAB) membership. This committee supports the organization's mission by fostering inclusion across industry sectors, promoting the value of membership, and ensuring a meaningful experience for all members.

Communications Committee

Manages communication among IAB members by promoting engagement opportunities and keeping members informed about activities within the AAMVA environment.

Finance Committee

Ensures that all budget allocations align with the Strategic Plan and is responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities to support sustainable growth.

Special Attrition Committee

A short-term working group established to assist AAMVA in identifying and implementing creative solutions to reduce conference attrition and meet contractual attendance commitments. The committee’s role is to analyze attendance patterns, explore engagement drivers, and recommend strategies that enhance participation and minimize financial risk associated with unfulfilled conference contracts.
